These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to gilsongames.com (the "Site") and to the Keepers of the Crown closed beta (the "Beta"), both offered by Gilson Games ("we", "us"). By using the Site or joining the Beta, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

Using the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't:

• misuse the beta request form, send spam or submit false information;
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its servers;
• copy, scrape or republish the Site's content without our permission.

Who can request beta access

You must be 18 or older to request access to the Beta. Parents and guardians may request access for their household and are responsible for how their children use the game.

The closed beta

• Access is by invitation. We choose testers at our discretion and may add, limit or end access at any time.
• Beta builds are unfinished. They may contain bugs, change between versions or reset progress.
• Invites, download links and beta builds are for you and your household. Please don't share, sell or publicly post them.
• Additional terms shown inside the game, if any, also apply to your use of the Beta.

Feedback

If you send us feedback, ideas or bug reports, you give us permission to use them to improve our games, without any obligation or payment to you.

Intellectual property

The Site, Keepers of the Crown and related content, including art, characters, text, music and logos, belong to Gilson Games or are used under license, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Gilson Games, Keepers of the Crown and their logos are trademarks of Gilson Games. You may share links to the Site and talk about our games, but you may not use our names, logos or content in other ways without written permission.

Third-party services

The Site uses or links to services we don't control, such as Cloudflare. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The Site and the Beta are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don't promise that they will be error-free, secure or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gilson Games won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Site or the Beta. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site or the Beta is limited to US $100.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site or the Beta after an update means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas.
