Thirty seconds inside the arcade: eight cabinets, 25 games and a whole lot of reading and spelling fun.

A whole arcade of word games

Kids play 25 mini-games across eight themed cabinets and a Snack Shack, earn stars and tickets, and spend them on prizes for their own room. Spark reads every word, sentence and tip aloud, so kids who are just starting to read can play too.

Your own 3D arcade

Spellcade is a whole arcade to walk into. Kids pick a cabinet, the camera dives into its screen, and the game begins. Each cabinet has its own theme, art, music and three games.

  • Eight themed cabinets plus a Snack Shack
  • Three arcade looks: Sunny Day, Boardwalk Sunset and Neon Night
  • Tokens switch on new cabinets for good
  • Tap characters and props in every game for a fun reaction

Reading games

Some games are about reading, not spelling. Kids listen to Spark, read a sentence, and pick the word that fits or find the word that doesn't.

  • Fishing Dock: hook the word you hear
  • Cupcake Mix-Up: to, too or two?
  • Snack Shack: read the order, make it

Spelling games

Spark says the word, reads it in a sentence, then says it again. Kids spell it with letter tiles or the keyboard, and every right letter makes something happen in the game.

  • Launch rockets, build bridges and bake cakes
  • Word parts, contractions and spelling rules
  • Help comes faster when a kid is stuck
Countdown: spell each word to launch the rocket
Egg Catch: every right letter lays an egg

Word puzzle games

Two new cabinets turn spelling into puzzles. Dig for fossils with a friendly T. rex in Dino Dig, or help Professor Hoot cast spells in Wizard's Library.

  • Word searches: Fossil Find and Book Hunt
  • Crosswords: Bone Builder and Spell Book
  • Jumbles: Egg Hatch and Cauldron Mix
Fossil Find: find the word, dig up a fossil
Spell Book: every word lights a rune

Stars, tickets and prizes

Every level gives up to 3 stars and tickets. Stars earn keys that unlock the next game. Tickets buy prizes and mystery boxes for kids to place in their own room.

  • 39 prizes at the prize counter
  • 64 toys to collect in mystery boxes
  • Golden tickets from big wins and the Snack Shack unlock 61 room looks
  • 45 achievements to earn
